CAD | BIM Management Services

Responsible for the wellbeing and management of the CADIBIM systems throughout the practice and their efficient and effective use by the staff. The implementation of the agreed CADIBIM standards and procedures across the practice and the induction of new staff and the training end awareness of the existing staff. Identify a strategy and budget for the purchase of new hardware and software. Supporting the project leaders and their teams particularly during the early stages when the project is being set up. Organize CAD user group meetings.

Managed the implementation of supporting software for CADIBIM and technology needs for satellite offices (FTP) protocols. Managed, distributed, and coordinated digital documents to the project team. Liaised with consultants and clients on standards and methods of CADIBIM data exchange. Responsible for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement. Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards. Created project plans and AutoCAD, Revit Architecture fundamental and intermediate training to staff. Develop and document training procedures, revisions and conduct AutoCAD & Revit training when necessary. Such training may be done one-on-one, classroom or via web.

Review project work to ensure that CAD standards and procedures are understood and being followed. Liaise with consultants and clients on standards and methods of CAD data exchange. Identifies errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggests alternatives. Develops and implements custom automated drafting and design procedures. Evaluates pros I cons of new drafting !design software. Report and make recommendations to the Directors. Maintain the Intranet website.
